  • Lodging will be provided for Friday and Saturday nights by the MAEL-PDC for those who live outside the Columbia area.

Meals:

  • Breakfast for both days and lunch for the first day will be provided by the PDC.
  • Be sure to mark if there are dietary requests and note that information on the enrollment form.
  • Participants may bring in their own coffee and snacks.

Temperature:

Controlling the temperature in meeting rooms to meet all participants’ comfort levels is often difficult.  We encourage participants to bring a light jacket and dress in layers.

Late Arrivals:

Please help your teacher arrive on time, plan ahead, check for highway construction, weather conditions, and time to travel.  In the event that a participant will not arrive on time, please call the hotel and leave a message for Jana Skopec.  The participant also needs to call the local program director to let him/her know the participant will be late.  Although 100% attendance is required for PD credit, a 20 minute grace period for the first day for participants driving in is allowed if there is notice to the presenters.  The PDC Director and the local program director will be in communication about the situation.
