The PDC offers all workshops to anyone wishing to learn more about Adult Education. If a person is interested in attending a PDC sponsored event, but is not affiliated with a state funded Adult Education and Family Literacy local program, that person is considered an "Independent" teacher.
Independent teachers need to enroll/register for workshops prior to the workshop and are charged a fee for attending. The fee is $20 per Professional Development hour. If meals are provided at the workshop, the PDC covers the meal. If the Independent needs lodging, that charge is not covered by the PDC.
