Do not use a third party internet site to make hotel reservation, call the hotel directly and let them know you will be staying with the AEL PDC.  You will need to use a credit card to reserve room, but once you check in, the cost of the room will be placed on the PDC's direct bill.

Friday, October 21: Meet and Greet, 7-8 p.m. at the hotel

Day 1: Workshop:  8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Day 2: Workshop:  8:30 a.m. until 12:30

Enrollment:

         ·   Enrollments will be taken up to 5 days before a workshop.  Local program directors need to send an enrollment form to Beth Gross at bgross@mail.ncmissouri.edu

  • If there is a cancellation within 5-10 days prior to a workshop, a participant from the wait list will be contacted and added.
  • Up to 40 participants will be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis.

Controlling the temperature in meeting rooms to meet all participants’ comfort levels is often difficult. We encourage participants

to bring a light jacket and dress in layers.

Late Arrivals:

Please help your teacher arrive on time, plan ahead, check for highway construction, weather conditions, and time to travel.

In the event that a participant will not arrive on time, please call the PDC office in Trenton and leave a message at 660-359-3948 X 1350

The participant also needs to call the local program director to let him/her know the participant will be late.

Although 100% attendance is required for PD credit, a 15 minute grace period for the first day for participants driving in is allowed if there is notice to the presenters.  The PDC Director and the local program director will be in communication about the situation.
